AFFIRM!
Peer Support Group

AFFIRM! is an 8-week education-based peer support group for gender diverse folx (age 16-25) who are interested in exploring care options and/or learning more about their care/wellbeing.
AFFIRM!, like all of our groups, is trauma-informed and committed to anti-oppressive and accessible forms of engagement and knowledge.
We meet weekly for 60 minutes. It is a closed group, meaning once the intake process has been completed, no new folks will be able to join until the next group begins. There is a limit of 10 participants. If capacity is reached any additional folks can be added to the waitlist for the next cycle.
The group meets virtually on a weekly basis, every Wednesday from 4:30-5:30 EST / 5:30pm to 6:30pm AST. Meetings will consist of a 20-30 minute presentation on a particular topic and 30-40 minute question and discussion period.
Self-referrals are welcomed. If you are registering on behalf of someone please ensure that you have their consent to do so.
Schedule
The first group will begin on Wednesday October 12th and run until November 30th.
